3 jan 2007:

KAISER has been to his first official show, the SKK Int in Malmö. Still, a very young junior, he had his CK and went 2nd best male after a champion and he bet several older males. The most common words in his critics were - excellent! The judge was very much impressed over his fantastic movement. Big congratulations, Camilla! And of course, vi sure are proud over both of you!

ROGER gets a new winner-title. Again! He became at the latvian winner-show best male, got CACIB, BOS and LTW-07! Fantastic!

SWeiK has had the annual meeting. Unfortunatly, we were not able to go there ourselves. We did some success anyway:

We achieved the trophy "Allroundbreeder" this year! Marvellous fun to have it again (last time was in 2004)! Thanks to marvellous puppybuyers and their marvellous dogs! We truly are proud!

Then, there was the trophy "Best hunter". Two dogs had exactly the same points, one of them was EMBLA. They decided to have a "lottery" of which dog would be the winner. (Have done that before.) Our bad luck, we didn´t win it this time. And actually, we have had the trophy before: in 1994, 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2001, so we´re OK!

CARMA was awarded with the trophy "Best woodlandtrial-dog"!

And some fun news from Denmark: A son of WISSE, Asleik, has achieved a 1st prize in openclass springfieldtrials! Awesome! And a joy to see how the legacy passes on! Big congratulations to Dan Siig Svendsen for a well handled dog!

HARPER has been to a show in Luxemburg. He was awarded TB (Très Bon)! Big congrats, Bénédicte!

At the danish weimaranerclub springfieldtrial the 31st of March 2007 in Tappernøje, some of our children and grandchildren competed. Only three dogs were given prizes, and two of them were "ours":
in openclass Kitta (CH Scuba´s Bartolomeus Besserwisser x Puk) had a 2nd prize. Congratulations, Jan Kjaer Rasmussen!
and Lukas (Garbus Man In Black x Moin) had a 3rd prize. Congratulations, Helena and Lars! Lovely!

HUNTER does it again! At the danish fieldtrial in winner-class he had a 1st! Fantastic! He also qualified to the danish championships but the owners went for a vacation to Kreta instead...

April 21st, 2007:
PIMM, KAISER and SASCHA passed their mental-test. Fantastic young dogs! Picture on the I-litter site!

April 29th, 2007:
KAISER passes "novice-class" in bloodtracking!

A e-mail from England, the owners of VIBY:
"...Last week I took her to a show where Jackie Doyle was judging - I got a 3rd in Junior out of 4, and a 4th in post graduate out of 7. She was a good girl but I need to work on getting her to stand for a little longer. Next weekend we are going to the WA Championship show. Gillian Burgoin is judging bitches..."

And a e-mail from Latvia, from the owners of ROGER:
"Hello dear friends, Finally it became true. I think that from very beginning we were hoping that one show should be ours. So yesterday, 28th of April on National Hunting Breeds Show Roger took Club Winner'07, became BOB, BIG-1 and finally - BIS-1!!! Judge Mr Cederstrom from Sweden after show asked at least twice where is Roger from. Sanita is crying in happiness already second day in row.
Couple of pictures http://www.dogs.lv/board/viewtopic.php?t=5151&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=45

On the same day our Specialclub had the annual meeting. Nicke was elected as president.

May 27th, 2007:
Our Specialclub´s show in Ånnaboda, judge: Stefanie Giesecke. I (Anci) did my first co-judging on brittanys and my last co-judging on weimaraners and I passed! This means that I´m now allowed to judge weimaraners at shows!

ATHOS and Bettan passes the trackingtest (humantracks)!

May 30th, 2007:
JETTA has now her healtdeclaration with no remarks! She´s moving in the beginning of next week to her new home! It´s going to be terribly empty without her and PIMM will surely miss her a lot. But we all know that she will be taken care of and loved to bits and in some years we will have a puppy back from her.

June 3rd, 2007:
Bettan and ATHOS gets a firstprize in obedience-class I! Well done!

June 9th 2007:
"Nordic", father of our H-litter becomes Best of Breed and Best in Group! Awesome, Anna!

June 17th 2007:
"Norpan" does it again! BOB and BIG! Twice in two weekends! Sensational, no other weimaraner in Sweden has ever done that before! And of course, we sure are proud that we were allowed to use "Nordic" to our H-appy litter!

June 30th, 2007:
At the SKK international show in Gällivare FRASSE became best male with CK, CACIB, BOS and TINDRA became best bitch and got CERT, CACIB and BOB! Unfortunately Anna didn´t have possibility to stay for the group-finals (Niklas didn´t show TINDRA himself). Congratulations to you both, Niklas and Anna!

Our trainingweekend was lovely! Fun to see the smallest in the woods and with good passion for the game! The youngsters did pretty well too, and the adults know what they are doing! We do look forward to see the results "on paper" this summer and autumn at trials!
Lovely people and lovely dogs! Thanks for lightning up our life!

PIMM is hd A!

July 29th, 2007:

WHAT A FANTASTIC WEEKEND!
There is no other way to explain it! On the Friday, Stein called from Norway: "I´ll arrive this evening, there´s a water- and trackingtest and I´ll bring both RIKKE and Lille." But of course!
Also, Anders and Camilla arrived, with KAISER and Patron from the south.
We went to bed early, since we had to wake up early on the Saturday morning. The test were held on the very south of Öland. Judge was Anders Beskow and excellent test-leader (as allways!) AnnSofie Erixon. Well done, good food and handy people. The sun was shining, and after the day I bet I was shining brighter than the sun...

We had heard that there would be very thick reeve and that the tracks would be on very smooth alvar-ground. Hm. I guess it´s about ten years ago since we last went to that place training, with old ASTI and DISA, on the "good old days". It was now four years ago (!!!) since I (Anci) went to trials handling a dog myself and it was the first time for PIMM. Holy...xxx...!

CARMA did her job; maximum points in all, carried the big fox to her master. Lovely!
RIKKE did well, and her daughter Lille did her first track ever (youthclass water 10, tracking 9).
KAISER went in openclass and had maximum points! "Big brother" Patron went as well (water 9, tracking 0).
PIMM did a good job, almost full points!
Oh yes, we were all very pleased! What a lovely day! We finished the day eating all together at the restaurant. Yummi!

Just before we went to the restaurant, the phone rang from Finland. It was Pia, letting us know that PIPPI went to the watertest in youthclass with maximum points! Wow! More good news!

Early rise, Sunday morning. We girls "forced" AnnSofie to start MUSSE at the test. "Well," AnnSofie said, "but then we must all be testleaders at the fieldtrials this autumn!" But of course!
CARMA did very well this day too, triple-ten!
MUSSE did well on his first test ever!
KAISER had maximum points as well. This time in youthclass. His buddy Patron had 9-9.
PIMM did a very nice water and a good tracking.

The conclusion for us and this weekend, then:
CARMA and her littersister ISA are the only two dogs in elitclass so far this year with a triple-ten, both with a fox (of course) in the track!
All four dogs competing in water- and trackingtest from our I-litter have had maximum points in water!
Fantastic dogs and fantastic people, we THANK you all for a fantastic weekend!

The results for our dogs this weekend:

Water- and trackingtest, Öland, 07.08.04:
elite CARMA, w 10, t 10, retr 10

youth PIMM, w 9, t 9

Water- and trackingtest, Öland, 07.08.05:

youth KAISER, w 10, t 10
youth PIMM, w 10, t 8

August 12th, 2007:
Lovely day - lovely weather!
I went to the SKK allbreed international show together with a dear friend. We brought both PIMM and CARMA with us. A little nervous, because it was the first official show for PIMM. And we did fine!
PIMM had CK in intermediate class, CARMA had CK in championclass. Second best bitch with a R-CACIB went to PIMM and CARMA was placed third! Awesome!
It was also fun to meet our "grand-son" SLCH SVCH Gundras Ernst-Albin who got CK and went 2nd of the males. Special congratulations to Woksebs Magnum who took his last CERT and became champion!

On the same day, VIBY did big success at Bournemouth Championship show. She got 1st place in Yearling Bitch!
Fantastic result by a "long-tail" in the country of the short-tailed dogs!!! Congratulations, Steve and Marilyn!

August 18th, 2007:
More lovely news from Finland!
NESSA did an excellent waterwork with maximum points - 5/5.
Congratulations Arto and Katja! We do look forward to the fieldtrials this autumn!

August 26th, 2007:
Club Match in Belgium.
A success in intermédiaire class:
1 Exc, Best male, CACS, BOB, Res-BIS. (Participating breeds were both long- and shorthairs, 23 + 60.)
Judge: Mme Lochs-Romans, NL.
We are so proud over both of you! Congratulations, Béné! "It´s always a pleasure..."

September 5th, 2007:
PIMM passes the "novice-class" in bloodtracking!

September 9th, 2007:
HARPER has done big success at a show again, this time in Pontoise! He "brought home" CACS, CACIB and became BOB! Well done, Bénédicte!

ATHOS competes in tracking and passes! Hurray, Bettan!

SWeiK bloodtrackingtest in Småland:
Five dogs competing, one amstaff and four weimaraner. The amstaff gets a first and the only weimaraner having a prize is MUSSE, with a third in openclass! Awesome, AnnSofie! PIMM does her (first ever!) track in openclass but with fresh elkprints and elkpoo it becomes a little bit too difficult for us... Well well, we are not in a hurry, we do hope for better luck next time!

HARPER once again gets 1st with EXC, CACS, CACIB and BOB! This time at the international show in Compiègne. Congratulations, Bènè!

September 22-23, 2007:
We have been to Denmark for the "full-trials" with CARMA for the first time! It was really exciting. Carman was the only weim out of 17 dogs.
She had some bad luck with the partridges and a water which was not particularly fun, but from the rest of the trial she had maximum points! Unfortunately no prize this time, but we´ll try again!
On the same weekend Marcus and EMBLA enteres at fieldtrials in elit-class for the first time. They succeed both days; two second prizes with 6 and 7 pts in field! Well done, Marcus!

September 25th, 2007:
HARPER goes to fieldtrial in France and wins a 3rd Excellent in very hard competition. Oh boy, we sure are proud of our little french-man!

In the swedish huntingmagazine Jaktjournalen # 10/2007, there is a very nice article about Marcus, EMBLA, Johan and KITOS. Also have a look at their web-site!

September 28th, 2007:
HARPER once again goes to fieldtrials in Beaumont-le-Roger in France and wins 4th Very Good! Oh boy, what fun!

September 29-30, 2007:
SWeiK fieldtrials in Fjällskär:
Lovely weekend, lovely dogs and several dogs having prizes!
PIMM and I didn´t succeed but we did much time in the fields, had many interesting and exciting situations and I belive the protocol/critics will be very positive. She has shown that she is a true hunter!
One that did succeed was brother KAISER, who had a first prize in youthclass on the Sunday! Huge congratulations, Camilla! You know we sure are proud of both of you! I hope to see him in openclass this year, which would be very fun!
Other dogs I´d like to mention are buddy Nisse, who succeeded to have two 2nd:s in open, even though he actually is a youngster! Well done, Bettan! Not to forget the italian spinone Dolli - marvellous having a 1st in open, with a 8 in field! I believe it´s the first time in our spinone-history in Sweden! Congratulations, Gitte and Lars! You know you have a lovely dog! And, she has just had a litter and is not in her best yet! There were also some other dogs who had prizes this weekend, congratulations to all of you!

September 29th, 2007:
The danish winnerclass in fieldtrials: HUNTER becomes 1st and Cox (sire of our next litter) becomes 5th. Fantastic! Well done, Kristian and Bjarne! We are proud of you!

October 5th, 2007:
HARPER goes to fieldtrials in Therdonne, France, and wins 2e EXC Res-CACT and achieves the new title TRIALER. Well done, Bènè!

October 6th, 2007:
HARPER goes to the weimclubs fieldtrial in Normandie (Caen): Harper wins two prizes at two fields - VG and 1erEXC CACT. He becomes "the best weimaraner of the day" and winner 2007 of "THE CHALLENGE URUS DES DIABLES GRIS DU FRESNE CAMILLY"! (in 2006 it was Vendome, son of grand-pa Norton, and in 2005 it was Taalys, daughter of Norton). We sure are proud!

One the same day, PIMM and I are hunting pheasants in Lopperstad. We found a lot; pheasants, roedeer and hare! Loads of them! Awesome! And thanks, Christian, for nice shots!!! (Hard shooting myself trying to concentrate on my youngster!)

October 7th, 2007:
ISA makes her debut in elit-class at fieldtrials! Lovely speed, very stylish and with some good birds it all ends up with a firstprize! Well done, Niklas - "only" one more 1st to the huntingchampiontitle!

PIMM and I are invited to a duckhunt, her first. On our way down to the reeves, we find a cuvee of partridges, a giant hare which very soon gets into rigor mortis and some minutes later she retrieves her first ducks. Interesting evening, indeed!

October 12th, 2007:
CARMA gets a surgery in her hock. A inflammation next to her hock-tendon. Soft-plaster, plaster and bandage. No hunting for at least two months. And no fieldtrials...

October 13-14th, 2007, SWeiK Clubchampionships in fieldtrials:
Three dogs were awarded with prizes, one of them being KAISER having a second in youthclass and buddy Nisse wins the trial! Very fun, indeed! PIMM is also in the trial, but doesn´t succeed having a prize.

October 20-21st, 2007, fieldtrials at Öland:
Dear friends and puppybuyers from good old England visiting us this weekend! PIMM has very bad luck, goes into a ditch and I have to immediately go the vet, she limps very badly. The x-ray shows that nothing was broken but also no competing on the Sunday. Now she has to rest for some weeks and we hope she will be fit-for-fight for the rest of the huntingseason.
KAISER and MUSSER attends at the trial, unfortunately bad luck with the birds and hare so no prize.

Fabulous news from France: HARPER has been to the Lausanne-Animalia's shows in Switzerland and on the Saturday, in workingclass, he gets 1st EXC, CACS, CACIB, best male and BOS. Judge: Mrs Kadike-Skadina (LV). On the Sunday he does a fine repeat and gets qualified for Crufts 2008! Judge: Mr Eymar-Dauphin (F). Fantastic!
Now we have two littermates qualified for Crufts next year! Two littermates living in different countries, England and France. I´ll be definitely sitting by ringside!!! (Mummy CARMA and aunt ISA were also qualified for Crufts, in 2003 and 2004.)

October 28th, 2007, fieldtrials at Gotland:
EMBLA gets a fine second in elit-class! Congratulations, Marcus! Well done!

Nicke went to Milano for a mini-weekend with some friends to watch football (Milan-Turin), so I quickly decided to have a girly weekend! Shopping and dinner on the Saturday and dogshow on the Sunday. It couldn´t have been more nice!

November 4th, 2007:
SKK Int show in Växjö:
KAISER competes in workingclass and gets a first. MUSSE competes in openclass and also gets a first, he becomes first in his class. No one of the male gets a CK.
PIMM competes in youthclass and becomes second with a CK. Then she becomes fourth in best bitch-class. Best bitch and best of breed with a CK and CACIB from championclass goes to EMBLA!
Our breedersgroup; A nice group out of three (!) combinations and we get our prize of honour. Judge in the breedring: Harry Tast, Finland.
Groupfinals: Our group is picked out (they pick the best five) and we are placed reserve! When we are entering the centre of the ring the judge (John Walsh) says to me: "This must have been worth waiting for..." I happily answerred: "Yes, indeed!"
EMBLA moves well in the groupfinals and there were many nice dogs in the group. She does not get a placement, we´ll try that another time! Well done, Cilla!

Many thanks to our lovely puppybuyers, who stay all day waiting for the finals! This time it was AnnSofie (with a bad knee), Cilla and Camilla (very pregnant). And thanks to you, Sabine, for helping us in the breedring once again!
I´m so proud of all of you! Once again we get the best group and once again we are placed in the finals! Awesome!!!

Lovely news from Finland! Now we have three youngster with a fieldtrialmerit in youthclass in our I-litter! PIPPI was rewarded with a thirdprize in fieldtrials. Congratulations, Pia and Kimmo!

December 1st 2007, fieldtrials at Lopperstad, Öland:
PIMM is the only dog having a prize this day! She succeeds to, in half storm and pouring rain, find a cock in very thorny sloe-bushes. She flushed it, but unfortunately it was impossible to shoot it from that angle. A pity. Well, we managed to get a second and sure we are proud! Now there are four in our I-litter having prizes from fieldtrials, still very young - only 21 months...

December 2nd, 2007, fieldtrials at Gärdslösa, Öland:
Even though the weather was very bad this day too, we managed to find some birds at the end.
PIMM had three good situations, unfortunately all of them pheasant-hens, so none of them was shot. She got good points in field but unfortunately zero on the retrieve. Maybe she has been a little bit spoilt during hunting, with nice fresh game? Anyway, it doesn´t matter, she had a very strong flush (I did sweat!) and once again showed that she really is a gamefinder!
The couple that saved our familyhonour was MUSSE and AnnSofie. They had a fine secondprize in openclass! Congratulations, very well done! It´s their first season in fieldtrials and we do look forward to coming ones... This means that one more from our G-litter is fieldtrialmerited. Awesome!
